Justin Clemens, Me'n'Me Trumpet

A piratical romp through the cosmos, in which our eponymous heroes escape, variously, a Mediterranean galley-drowning sometime in the late seventeenth century, a high-modernist drawing-room with macaroons and llamas, and a cosmic cult run by a guy with enormous hair, me ‘n’ me trumpet is a tour de force of contemporary experimental verse.

Justin Clemens has published several books of poetry, including The Mundiad (Black Inc 2004),Villain (Hunter 2009) and, most recently, me ‘n’ me trumpet (Vagabond 2011). He also writes on European philosophy and Australian art. A collection of his art-criticism has been republished as Minimal Domination (Surpllus 2011).
