He co-edited \u003cem\u003eCaracoa 2006\u003c\/em\u003e (poetry journal of the Philippine Literary Arts Council) and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eUnder the Storm: An Anthology of Contemporary Philippine Poetry \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e( e Antithesis Collective, 2011). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eChiaroscuro, Ruins and Reconstructions\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eUnder the Storm \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewere nalists for the National Book Awards. A recipient of the 2006 NCCA Literary Prize, he has won several other awards for his poetry in English: the Palanca, the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePhilippines Free Press\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the Meritage Press Poetry Prize (San Francisco, USA), and the Bridport Prize (Dorset, United Kingdom). In 2011, he enjoyed a Rockefeller Foundation creative arts residency at the Bellagio Center in Italy and was a Fellow at the International Writing Program, University of Iowa.
