Jane Gibian, Long Shadows
Long shadows is a collection of haiku in two parts. Street-life in Hanoi, gumnuts and Australian summers; poet Jane Gibian evokes the sensations of specific landscapes through the haiku form.

Jane Gibian’s publications include her collection Ardent (Giramondo, 2007) and small adjustments and other poems (Wagtail poetry magazine, Picaro Press, 2008). Her work has been widely anthologised, most recently in Motherlode: Australian Women’s Poetry 1986-2008 (Puncher and Wattman, 2009), The Perfume River: Writing from Vietnam (UWA Publishing, 2010) and Australian Poetry Since 1788 (UNSW Press, 2011).
